The High Kings are Finbarr Clancy\, Darren Holden\, Brian Dunphy Paul O&rsquo\; Brien. In 2007\, Brian\, Darren\, Finbarr and former member Martin Furey were asked to join a new Irish ballad group by David Kavanagh\, after he had noticed a gap in the market for a band specializing in traditional Irish music. It didn&rsquo\;t take long into their first studio rehearsal for them to realize that they were onto something
\n\nspecial\, and it was confirmed when their self-titled album reached #2 on the world Billboard Music chart.
\n\nOver the past twelve years\, The High Kings have released four studio albums\, two live albums and two DVDs. In 2017\, they released a compilation album &ldquo\;Decade&rdquo\; which celebrated ten amazingly successful years together and included five brand-new recordings. The High Kings play thirteen instruments between them\, creating the unique sound they are known for\, and continue to set the bar extremely high for Irish Folk bands across the world. Regarded as a leader in the Irish folk genre\, they continue to perform at sold out shows globally.
\n\n2021 sees the release of &ldquo\;Home from Home&rdquo\;\, their brand-new 11 track album. Recorded live at Concert Deck in Dublin\, &ldquo\;Home from Home&rdquo\; is a journey through classic folk songs\, old and new.
\n\n&ldquo\;The idea behind this album was to bring our fans on a journey across the world\, to some of the places we call home when we tour\, via some of the classic folk songs that have inspired us along the way.&rdquo\;
