Meet brewers serving up samples of craft beers in our limited edition souvenir pint glass (yours to keep!). PLUS\, an ode to Oktoberfest: We'll be serving up hot brats and pretzels to complement the brews while you enjoy live rock 'n roll from The Dirt Boys from York\, ME! Great raffles. Listen to local storyteller Diana Abbott tell tales of spooks and haunted happenings.\n\nWINE TASTING 2pm-5pm\, Village Food Market\, 230 Main Street. Micka l Capodagli\, from the city of Montpellier in the Languedoc-Roussillon region will be there to discuss the French wines.\n\nPUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST 2-4pm. Cornerstone\, 228 Main Street. Watch the experts create their masterpieces\, then vote on them starting at 4pm. Winners will be announced at the Oktoberfest celebration on Sunday. T-shirt giveaway.\n\nSAM ADAMS BEERFEST 4-6pm\, Amore Breakfast. Featuring fall brews and hard ciders. Hot and cold subs and snacks will be available. Live music by Lex and Joe. 21+.\n\nGHOSTLY TOURS 6-8pm. Ogunquit Heritage Museum\, Obeds Lane. Stop in for a ghostly walk through Ogunquit. Tours by the Ogunquit Heritage Museum. Bring your flashlight it's dark out there! $5 adults\, children under 10 free. Weather permitting. Winners announced at 12:30pm.\n\nCOSTUME PARADE 11am\, Center of town to Main Beach. Costumed kids\, adults\, and canines welcome! Rain location: Under the tents at the Main Beach Parking Lot. Weather permitting.\n\nWAITER RACES noon\, Beach Street. See if your favorite Ogunquit waiter can make the cut! Waiters will race down Beach Street and back\, dressed in uniform\, and holding a full tray! Waiters must make it around the course without spilling in order to win the prize! Anyone can participate. Weather permitting.\n\nOKTOBERFEST FEATURING OPA'S OOMPAH BAND Noon-4pm: Join Cornerstone for some fun polka music and enjoy homemade brats\, German beer and Bavarian music. Find out the winners of the pumpkin carving contest.\n\nHIGH HEEL DASH AND WALK-OFF 3pm\, Perkins Cove. Watch the hijinks as brave souls race around Perkins Cove in high heels! Better yet\, join in the race! Heels must be at least 2" high\, and trophies (and prize money) awarded for Best Time\, Highest Heel and Most Outrageous Costume! Proceeds from registration will go to Frannie Peabody Center. Please note that Perkins Cove Road will be closed to traffic from 2:30pm until the end of the Dash (approximately 3:30pm).
