Join us at Barn Gallery in Ogunquit, Maine on Thursday, August 28th for a “Chinese Ink Painting Workshop- Birds and Flowers” (from 11am – 3pm) led by Ogunquit Art Association artist-member Shiao-Ping Wang.

Come join accomplished artist + educator Shaio-Ping Wang as she presents a workshop focused on the art of Chinese Ink Painting.
This course explores the tonality and mark-making of traditional Chinese ink painting with subtle hints of watercolor.
We will develop our sensibility of the “5 colors of grey” in ink and build a mark-making vocabulary that turns dots and strokes into bird and flower paintings.
Wet and dry brush techniques are achieved with a variety of Chinese paper of different absorbencies.
All skill levels are welcome.
