About Us
The Ogunquit Museum of American Art (OMAA) sits on approximately three acres of sculpture gardens located right on the ocean overlooking a stunning panorama of Maine’s iconic coves and outcroppings. The museum's collection has works by some of the most prominent modern artists working in the United States, including Marsden Hartley, Yasua Kunyioshi, and Walt Kuhn. Each season, the museum holds a dynamic program of rotating special exhibitions of modern and contemporary American art, lectures, and art classes led by local artists, continuing Ogunquit’s tradition of being a center for vanguard art in Maine.
