12,000 Years in Maine
Travel through time with Chris Sockalexis to look at the material culture of Maine’s Native Americans during abrupt climatic events, from the ice tundra environment of the last ice age to the boreal forests we see today, and how they adapted to an ever changing climate. Sockalexis is the Penobscot Nation Tribal Historic Preservation Officer and is pursuing a master’s degree focused on archaic ceremonial burials around the Gulf of Maine. $5 suggested donation. Wells Reserve at Laudholm.
