We're taking the concept of Bonaire, which was created to showcase the Ogunquit area's artists, artisans and musicians in a celebratory atmosphere with music and food, to a whole new level to serve as one of the signature events of Ogunquit's 40th anniversary.
Shore Road will be closed to traffic from Route 1 to The Crooked Pine so we can host our anniversary block party, featuring a street-wide stage with live music & entertainment from 10am-5pm, and more.
The artisan craft fair will move from its past location at Dorothea Jacobs Grant Common, into Jacob's Lot from Shore Road to the Cumberland Farms lot. Bangor Savings Bank is also donating space on the back part of its lot for the event, and there will be a select number of vendor spots on Shore Road as well. Vendor participation will be based on select criteria and focusing on local artisans and producers.
We've got some great family events in the planning stages at the OVS Playground, and health & wellness interactive activities at Dorothea Jacobs Grant Common.
Spread the word, and plan to spend some time celebrating our community at this year's Bonaire. It's going to be a great day to be in Ogunquit !!!
