Children's Story Hour at OMAA!
Join the Ogunquit Museum of American Art for a special children’s story hour hosted at the museum in partnership with the Ogunquit Memorial Library. This final event in the series will feature beloved books by Esphyr Slobodkina, including Caps for Sale, More Caps for Sale, and The Wonderful Feast. Enjoy a reading session led by a museum docent, followed by engaging art activities designed to introduce young minds to the basics of abstract art. Ideal for children ages 2-7, this event is free and no advance registration is needed. Afterward, families are invited to explore the galleries and grounds at no charge. Don’t miss the chance to see Slobodkina’s artwork featured in the exhibition, Lee Krasner: Geometries of Expression, at the museum!
