OgunquitFest like many things in 2020 is being Reimagined this year.

"Fall For Ogunquit" all month long with activities the whole family can enjoy.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
OCTOBER 1 - 31
Fall for Ogunquit Bingo
Local businesses are known for their creative and festive fall décor. Get out into the town and find all the items on the bingo card. Find them all and enter to win a $50 Gift of Ogunquit Gift Certificate.

OCTOBER 6 - 23
Re-Imagined Book Signing with Paddington Bear Illustrator RW Alley
Look who will be back in town -sort of! We are excited to announce that the RW Alley/Paddington Bear book signing tradition continues during Ogunquitfest! As so many things are different this year, our book signing with RW Alley has been re-imagined too! RW Alley has graciously offered to sign and personalize a selection of his wonderfully happy, sweet, classic books. The books will be available to pre-order via phone or in store by filling out a form with the personalization information of each book purchased. Go to Villagetoyfunatic.com for more information.

OCTOBER 9 - 25
Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt
Find the scarecrows scattered throughout downtown. Collect all the clues to solve the puzzle. Get the puzzle right and enter to win a $50 Gift of Ogunquit Gift Certificate

OCTOBER 15 - 31 
Pumpkin Decorating and Display
We want to display your pumpkins! Come pick up a pumpkin and a decorating kit at the Ogunquit Welcome Center. Take it home or back to your hotel and let the kiddos go crazy. Paint it, carve it, load it up with stickers, just let the creativity flow. When you have your pumpkin just the way you want it, drop it off at Fireman's Park located on the corner of Shore Rd. & Cottage St. (next to the Fire Station). Pumpkins will be on display at the park until October 31. If you would like to take your pumpkin home after it's been displayed, please make sure you write your name on the bottom. Pumpkins and kits can be picked up at the Ogunquit Welcome Center from October 15-31. The Welcome Center is open to the public Mon-Fri 9am-5pm and Sat 9:30am-2:30pm. While supplies last. Feel free to use your own pumpkin if you want!

OCTOBER 23-25
Harvest Dining Trail
October 23-October 25
Celebrate the season and follow the trail of seasonal goodies. Local restaurants and eateries will be offering special seasonal items on their menu. You will be provided with a map of the participating restaurants so you can follow the trail of yummy goodness around town! Go to Ogunquit.org/fallforogunquit for the map.

OCTOBER 24
Horse Drawn Wagon Rides at Veteran's Park, 10am-2pm
Ride in style through downtown Ogunquit in a horse drawn wagon! Fun for the whole family! $5 per person, Veteran's Park. No need to reserve a spot.

Sculpture Garden Walking Tour at Ogunquit Museum of American Art, 11am
Explore OMAA's beautiful sculpture park overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and enjoy its 18 individual gardens. Walking tours are available with paid museum admission and meet at OMAA's admissions desk; tours are weather permitting.

Sand Drawing, 11am-2:30pm
Join Sebastian Privitera at the Ogunquit Main Beach as he shows you how to make beautiful large-scale drawings in the sand. Each class is 30 minutes long, and rakes will be provided. This event is free, but classes are limited to five people per half hour, so sign up early! For more information and available times: email ogtsandcastle@gmail.com.

Greek Market at Nikanos, 11:30am until they are sold out.
Head to Nikanos and sample some of their traditional Greek delicacies including Greek Donuts, Baklava, Dolmades, Spanakopita and some traditional dips & spreads. Follow up with a grab and go cocktail and leave with some fun Nikanos merchandise, sweatshirts, T-shirts, hats and more!

DogtoberFest Costume Parade/Beach Walk, 12pm
Located at the entrance to Main Beach (rain date, October 25 at noon). Costumed dogs will be registered and photographed at the start of the dog walk. Photos will be posted on the Ogunquit Dog Park Facebook Page. Ranked choice voting on the photos will be open for 5 days. Winners will be announced and prizes sent out on October 29.

"Rocky Horror" Halloween Rock Painting, 11am-1pm
This is a fun free activity for kids of all ages. Pick up your rock in Rotary Park, Perkins Cove and walk across the oldest operating pedestrian bridge to the lawn overlooking Perkins Cove. Tables will be set up on the lawn and all paint and brushes will be supplied. See you in the Cove for a fun Rocky Horror paint day! Social distance guidelines followed.

POE - Tales of Fears & Suspense, 1pm
Kirk Simpson brings his on-man show back to Clay Hill Farm with readings from the Master of the Macabre. Limited seating. Reservations required. Costumes welcome! Outdoor performance. Please be sure to dress warm. Some outdoor walking required. Weather permitting? shine only. Tickets $20 plus food & beverage. Show only $35. Private POE shows available upon request. Socially distanced seating. Masks must be worn throughout the performance. 

Scary Story Time, 5pm 
We're setting a spooky stage in the park (Dorothea Jacobs Grant Common) and telling tales of mystery and horror at Scary Story Time! Come for the early show if you're timid; stay for the later show if you dare! Social distancing will be observed..

OCTOBER 25
Plein Air Class with Ric Della Bernarda at Ogunquit Museum of American Art
Learn to paint in oils at OMAA during October. Minimum of 2 students with a maximum of 5. Everything is supplied! No painting experience needed. Leave with your own painting that you created.
