Downtown Trick or Treating, 5pm-7pm - Be sure to bring the kiddos to downtown Ogunquit for a trick or treating extravaganza. Participating businesses will be handing out treats for all the little goblins and ghosts.
OCTOBER 22
4th Annual Greek Market at Nikanos - While enjoying OgunquitFest weekend, be sure to stop at our grab and go tent located right outside at Nikanos. We will have your favorite Greek specialties fresh and ready to go. Baklava, Spanakopita, house made dips & spreads, lavash, Greek donuts, hot harvest soup, coffee, cocktails & much more.
Perkins Cove Halloween Festivities, beginning at 10am Gather at the Oarweed Restaurant for our costume contest. (There is no parking available at Oarweed.). Followed by, at 10:30am, a Halloween parade around the Cove, with costume contest winners announced in Perkins Cove Rotary Park. Immediately after the parade, there is trick or treating until 11:30am. 12pm-1:30pm - Rock painting, face painting and tattoos across the Perkins Cove Bridge
Classic Car Show at Main Beach, 10am-1pm Join us for our annual Classic Car Show at Main Beach Browse more than 100 classic cars that will be on display for your viewing pleasure while enjoying live music from local musicians. (Rain date, October 23)
DogtoberFest Costume Parade/Beach Walk, 11am Located at the entrance to Main Beach. Costumed dogs will be registered and photographed at the start of the dog walk. Photos will be posted on the Ogunquit Dog Park Facebook Page. Judging is at noon! (Rain date, October 23)
Book Signing at Village Toy Funatic, 11am-1pm Meet best-selling author-illustrator Chris Van Dusen and be our guest for a spectacular autographing event. Chris Van Dusen is a Maine author and illustrator of several highly acclaimed picture books, including the hugely popular Mercy Watson series. His newest Christmas Mercy book will be available! Books will be available for purchase. The books will also be available to pre-order via phone or in store by filling out a form with the personalization information of each book purchased. Pre-order before your trip to Ogunquit and it will be waiting for you when you arrive after the event. For more information on how to pre-order, please call the store at 207-646-7728.
Superhero 5K - Kids Fun Run at Main Beach, 12pm The Superhero 5K & Kids Fun Run is a family-friendly event in support of Rett?s Roost, a sanctuary for families that have experienced childhood cancer and child loss, in Ogunquit. After a one-year hiatus, we are bringing back our most favorite fundraising event: the Superhero 5K and Kids Fun Run, this time on OgunquitFest weekend on the beach followed by an afterparty with magic and awards at the beloved downtown Leavitt Theatre. We cannot wait to gather with you in-person (virtual option available too) for a pre-Halloween celebration (all types of costumes encouraged) of all the brave kid heroes who have faced cancer and their fearless, loving families. OgunquitFest Artisan & Vendor Craft Fair at Dorothea Jacobs Grant Common & the Dunaway Center Saturday, 9am - 4pm & Sunday, 10am - 3pm Come join us for our annual Artisan Craft Fair! Prior to covid, this event was held at the beach under a big tent, but we will now be hosting it at Dorothea Jacobs Grant Common and the Dunaway Center. Both locations are conveniently located next to Obeds Parking Lot. Come check out the wares of 60 artisan and craft vendors while enjoying live music and food trucks

Antique Fall Tag Sale at Hutchins Antiques, 9am-3pm Come join our dealers for an all day sale going on in our parking lot.
Oktoberfest at Cornerstone, 12pm-4pm MUSIC - FOOD - BEER. Join us at Cornerstone for our annual Oktoberfest featuring live music by TubaFrau Hofbrau Band.
High Heel Dash at Perkins Cove, 3pm Watch the hijinks as brave souls race around Perkins Cove in high heels! Better yet, join in the race! Heels must be at least 2" high. Don't have any? We have some you can borrow. Prizes awarded for Best Time, Highest Heel and Most Outrageous Costume! Proceeds from registration will go to the Frannie Peabody Center (peabodycenter.org). Registration begins at 2:30pm: adults $20/kids under 12 (no heels) $10. Please note that Perkins Cove Road will be closed to traffic from 2:30pm until the end of the Dash (approximately 3:30pm).
