Area Manager - IMMEDIATE HIRING

The Area Manager position will oversee Owner and Guest services. Including housekeeping, property audits, and onboarding new properties to the rental program. We are looking for a team player who enjoys variety, takes initiative, is a self-starter, and excels in multi-tasking! The area manager will report to the General Manager. This is not a typical 9-to-5 job, flexibility in your schedule and strong time-management skills are required in order to meet the needs of our owners and guests. The ideal candidate must reside in or near Wells, Ogunquit, York, Maine or within 45 minutes, have management experience, and possess an excellent customer service skill set.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee all GetAway Vacations - Maine operations.
  • Respond promptly to communications (email, text, calls, etc.) from owners, guests, and team members.
  • Proactively solve problems and devise solutions.
  • Collaborate in local and online marketing initiatives.
  • Review and reconcile all work orders and owner statements (light accounting experience preferred).
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines
  • Conduct onboarding tasks for new owners as per protocol.
  • Handle owner-client management duties including calls, work orders, and customer service tasks.
  • Maintain open and consistent communication with property owners.
  • Perform annual audits and updates of all properties in our management system.
  • Supervise housekeeping, maintenance, and seasonal staff.
  • Provide guest services such as supply deliveries, after-hours calls, and problem-solving.
  • Address guest feedback and resolve any issues related to property standards.
  • Ensure all properties are prepared, set up, and staged to meet GetAway Vacations' standards for arrivals.
  • Coordinate with the Housekeeping on staff scheduling.
  • Regularly update housekeeping procedures.
  • Manage hiring of seasonal employees.
  • Maintain office organization.
  • Oversee inventory management.
